The Minneriya Unicorn elephant gained fame due to its single tusk on the right side, which is why it was named "Unicorn." However, a few days ago, a dead body was found in the Katukeleya reserve area. It has been confirmed that it belonged to the Unicorn elephant. It is now clear that the death occurred due to a gunshot. Nevertheless, there seems to be no end in sight to this wave of elephant killings.
